This is an essential part of preparation of the dancer's physique. It improves posture and muscle development in line with the rigours of classical ballet technique.

Ballet Babes

These classes are a fun introduction to ballet, where basic ballet positions are imaginatively introduced through storylines and props, helping to develop children's response to music and rhythm.

Children's RAD Ballet Grades

The Royal Academy of Dance offers an internationally recognised portfolio of exams designed to motivate and encourage students of all ages and abilities. Exams are aimed at all levels, from beginners to those on the threshold of a career in dance, and from ages 2½ to adult. Exams provide achievable goals, recognition from the world’s largest ballet examination board and qualifications accredited by UK regulatory authorities.
RAD Pre-Primary

These structured classes develop students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality using a range of movements and musical styles. The syllabus prepares students for a successful transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.

RAD Primary

These structured classes develop students’ physical skills, stamina, creativity, expression and musicality using a range of movements and musical styles. The syllabus prepares students for a successful transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.

RAD Grade 1

The Graded Examinations in Dance syllabus provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills. The syllabus for grades 1+ incorporates ballet, free movement and character.

Ballet and Disco

Beginners classes in Ballet, Tap and Disco Jazz. Sessions alternate weekly between the three dance genres.

Children's Contemporary Dance

Contemporary dance is a popular form of dance which developed during the middle portion of the twentieth century and has since grown to become one of the dominating performance genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world, with particularly strong popularity in the U.S. and Western Europe. Classes focus on Cunningham and Graham techniques fused with release based techniques. The senior dance class also incorporates lyrical jazz.

A class for 8-11 year olds focussing on commercial jazz and disco.

Street & Commercial Jazz Dance

Street dance is popular dance activity which has emerged from street culture and the community. It encompasses many different styles including breakdance, popping, locking, hip hop, house dance and electro dance to name a few. It gives untrained dancers the opportunity to express themselves freely through an ever-evolving vocabulary of steps.
